ABOUT Landscape Parts Supply, Inc.

My name is Gilo. I started at the age of 18 working for a small businessman in the suburbs of a growing community about 45 minutes north of New York City servicing Rockland, Bergen, Westchester, Fairfield and Passaic Counties. I would help him daily by unloading shipments and loading various lawn mower parts such as blades, filters, tires, wheels, belts, spindles, bearings and other various parts into his car to be delivered to local lawn care businesses.

After many years of hard work, I became fluent in english and was able to identify and locate parts as customers came into our basement location. I became especially helpful since I was bilingual was able to communicate with both owners and their staff members.

The company I worked for was later sold to a company out of the mid-west. I began to run the local store while management was a plane ride away. I began to understand and grow in all aspects of the business.

Most recently this past holiday season I was told 2 weeks before the end of the year that our local retail store in Rockland County, New York would be closing by the end of the year.

At first I did not know what I would do to support my family. After 21 years in the business I developed a passion for it.

I knew that many local landscape contractors, snow contractors and municipalities both big and small depended upon the store and ME to help keep their equipment running.

I know how important cost and customer service is in today’s competitive economy. I would often hear stories of many clients getting price gauged at local power equipment shops.

So I began to search for an convenient affordable location for me to begin my journey.
